Re: JAWS + Windows 10

Hi,
Windows 10 will in fact release before the 29th of July 2015. The purpose of the Get Windows 10 button on the system tray for users with the latest version of Windows 7 and 8.1 is so that users that have reserved Windows 10 can have Windows 10 before the 29th of July 2015 to prevent the microsoft servers from being overloaded with downloads. Windows 10 will be available for reserved users in a controled manner. If you accidently reserve, you will have the ability to opt out. I would suggest individuals to hold on the upgrade for now as your assistive technology, devices and printers may not be compatible with Windows 10. I am currently in the insider program and am having a problem with the mirror display driver on Windows 10 with JAWS 16. Other then that, I am enjoying Windows 10. I currently have Windows 8.1 as my primary machine and Winodows 10 is like having Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 combined. Just my .02 cents

Windows 10 won't even be released before July 29. Who knows when it will actually come to a computer near you?

Hi List,

Just wondering has anyone installed Windows 10 yet! And is it
compatible with JAWS 14?
Any views or comments would be great.

Kind regards,

Niall
