This isn't as farfetched as I first thought, considering that AOL bought out Netscape several years ago. As Ted suggests, before being acquired, Netscape turned over development of its browser to Mozilla. So part of the explanation for what some people are experiencing seems to lie there. I think Firefox is a direct descendant of Netscape, the original de facto browser, before IE became the big cheese.

I have been getting that same message in ff the past few weeks. I would like to know what this is all about as well. JAWS does say it over and over and what is netscape? I have never heard JAWS repeat netscape over and over. Thanks all.
