I did play around with it and found out that you cannot use it as a media player on your computer. The player has to be embedded into a web site. It does not even allow someone to download the video or convert it into a file format like mp3. The AFB site was quite deceiving. They are trying to get a player that will work much better if it is embedded into any website, so hopefully they will continue to develop it to be that video player that will work on a personal computer.
