One thing to keep in mind is that if JAWS does crash, it now restarts itself
without your intervention. JAWS doesn't crash on me very often, but when it
does, this feature is really nice.

I've been having more and more problem with the crashing in the last year,
but thought it was because my windows and JAWS are pretty old. This is a
little discouraging to think I'll still have to put up with it even after
spending probably a thousand plus.

that JAWS stops working, and then restarts itself. It happens to me all

time. I understand the reasoning behind it, but you still don't have
speech
during that minute or so. You're wondering if your computer has frozen

what's going on. FS built that into JAWS 15 and 16. In 15, you can
control
when JAWS restarts. In version 16, it restarts for you.

When I play a game that requires jaws, I notice that every once in a
