I would be very interested to know if this resolves your issue.

Subject: RE: Issue with creating accessible PDF files. I've been bugged by that for years. The other day I was looking at such a problem document, and decided to bring it into Word 13 to clean it up. Lo and behold, the problem disappeared. It'll be interesting to see what happens when I resave it to PDF. Subject: Re: Issue with creating accessible PDF files. Mike, I've seen this with PDF files created by others, so it's not necessarily something you're doing wrong. Reading the rendered document very often does result in words being glued together, and I'm not sure if they were originally separated by line breaks. Best solution I've found is to use Freedom Import Printer to render into text. But again I think your document is fine, even if it reads weird. Have you printed it and checked with Openbook, or showed to a sighted person? Hi folks! I'm having an issue with creating an accessible PDF document. I am able to create the document, and save it as a PDF file. When I pull up the PDF file, JAWS reads it, but I'm noticing that the words are run together, and JAWS tries to pronounce the words as one word, because there is no space between the two or three words. It appears that JAWS is reading this correctly. My concern is that somehow in the translation, the words are being run together. How do you keep this from happening? Is there a way to make these words have spaces between them? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
