I heard that Windows 10 will be free to all Windows 7 and 8 users. I
am not sure how much will change between 8 and 10. I, also, have
stayed on 7. There is something you can put on your computer that
makes the user interface with 8 very similar to Windows 7.

Windows 10 will release later this year. May want to hold off unless you
plan to purchase a new machine. Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for
Windows 7, 7 and 8.1 users.
