Hi Again,

Sorry, I forgot to add the steps for Jaws versions prior to Jaws12 for
stopping the announcing of mouse over.
1. Open the configuration manager, control, shift, + D, for default manager,
Alt + S, to open user options.
2. Arrow down to, HTML options,
& press enter, or just press the
letter H, after opening user options.
3. Control + Tab, to the Misc. tab.
4. Tab to, indicate element attribute, & uncheck this box if it is
checked.
5. Tab to okay, press the spacebar or enter, press control + S, to save
your changes, & press Alt + F4 to close the configuration manager.

HTH
Take care.
Mike

Hi Ed,

For Jaws12, try the following to stop the mouse over from being announced;
1. Open the Settings Center, press control, shift, + D, for the default
for
all applications, & Alt + S, for the search box.
2. Type in, indicate element, & wait for a couple of seconds for the
results.
3. Arrow down to, indicate element attribute, & uncheck this box if it is
checked.
4. Tab to okay, press enter to save your changes & close.

Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

Subject: Annoying articulation of Mouse over

I think I remember a thread on this subject, but it was a long, long
time
ago.
When I go to Dictionary.Com (I wish Research-It used this reference tool
instead of the rather lame dictionary presently included), I encounter
repeated enunciation of "mouse over."
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this?
I went to the Settings Center and typed in Mouse over. I got nothing.
