Once again, your idea works. Thanks, Dennis.

Adrian,
What if you try Document Presentation mode as Screen instead of Simple? Not
sure if it would work, but it is worth a try.
While highlighting that item, tab once to get to the help window that
explains the setting's function.

Thanks,
Dennis Brown

Dennis,

Thanks. Yes, that does it. I'd thought about it when going down the quick
settings options, but I worried it would interfere with other useful
information. Well, so far, so good.

Now for why control-down arrow doesn't navigate by paragraph for me with
Firefox 32.0.3.

Can you turn it off with the setting for identifying link type in web and
html settings in the Settings utility?

Thanks,
Dennis Brown

And if it's because of embedded code (for instance making it so that
any word can be clicked to bring up a dictionary entry) it's not going
to be because they won't see it as a bug. I recall seeing something
like that on some fiction publishing website but I don't recall where.

been addressed.

I've encountered this problem at only one website so far. It's a
subscription service that requires logging in. Has anyone encountered it
elsewhere? Is there a fix?

In Firefox, JAWS is saying "clickable" at the end of every line of text.
No
link is involved. I assume Firefox is verbalizing some embedded code.
This
problem does not occur with IE11.
