Hmm, did you install from a disk or download?
Sometimes that install disk is not all it is cracked up to be.
I might be tempted to remove JAWS and install from Freedom's web site.

Hi folks! I have installed JAWs on a client's new computer, and I'm getting
an error message that says that the the Freedom Scientific display driver is
not properly installed. I've run a repair, and updated Windows, to make
sure all of the drivers are current. What can I do to resolve this issue?
Do I need to rerun the repair?
