Re: Pinning to Task Bar

let's make it step by step. in IE;
1. Open menu tools and choose options.
2. In the first opened field you just write or paste the web pages addresses. You press enter after each address.
3. Shift+tab to ok button and space on it.
In firefox:
1. Open menu tools/options.
2. First thing in general tab is to choose what to display when ff is opened. Choose to show your homepage.
3. Tab once and enter the web addresses as you did in IE.
4. Go to OK and press it.
Or you can open each page you want in different tabs, go to tools/options and go to the button to use your current pages and finally press ok button.
In IE and FF you move through tabs with ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab.

IE you just place each URL on a new line and Firefox you put a | (vertical
bar) symbol between URLs.
I've got for example The Old Reader, my google calendar and my business
site's login pages as my homepages.

Let's don't forget the possibility to make the site a homepage. In IE7 and
higher you can have multiple home pages. Firefox allows it too.

Here's an idea.
Create a standard desktop program icon for Internet Explorer. Then
edit so that you are running the executable file for Internet
Explorer, and then follow it with a space and the URL for the web site
of
If it works, then maybe that can be pinned to the taskbar, since it's
actually a program.

Thanks Jim. That works if I want to pin a program. However if I am
trying to pin a web site, I don't get the pin to tashbar option.
What I've done as a compromise is, after putting a link on the
desktop, I set up a hot key to invoke it. It isn't exactly what I
intended but it gets the job done.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
