Hi Soronel,

The enable Java Access Bridge checkbox is not there. I don't have Java or
the Access Bridge installed & when I tried to get the Java Acces Bridge from

Oracle the website was very confusing so, I stopped playing around with it
entirely. Thank you very much for your reply.

Bring up the ease of access center, tab down to "Use the computer
without a display" and hit space.

No, it will not hurt anything. In fact, it will probably give more
functionality in some of your apps. I keep this enabled on my PC as well.

notifications to 30 seconds instead of the default 7 seconds. While I

there I stumbled upon this unchecked checkbox for Enable Java access

In windows 8 it's windows key u, then the rest is still the same.

So, adding that in combined with the below, it will look like this:

Dialogs Stay Open combo Box and choose from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.
