Hi All,

When in the Ease of Acdess Center I'm not finding the checkbox to Enable the

Java access Bridge. Would someone please give me a hard shove in the right

direction? I've opened several links & don't know if I'm just overlooking
it or what. Running Windows7 Pro 64 bit & Jaws 13 thru 15. All help will
be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

No, it will not hurt anything. In fact, it will probably give more
functionality in some of your apps. I keep this enabled on my PC as well.

While in the Ease of Access Center I did find the combo box to change the
notifications to 30 seconds instead of the default 7 seconds. While I was
there I stumbled upon this unchecked checkbox for Enable Java access
Bridge.
I have seen some chat sites requiring this java access bridge. Will it
hurt
anything to enable this java access bridge? Vista Home 32 bit.

In windows 8 it's windows key u, then the rest is still the same.

So, adding that in combined with the below, it will look like this:
Press windows key u, tab over to the Use the Computer without a Display
link
and press Enter. Next, tab to the How long should Windows Notification
Dialogs Stay Open combo Box and choose from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.
Thirty
seconds or 1 minute should be adequate. I wouldn't want those balloons
hanging around too long; they might block access to other items on the
screen.
