I always wondered if there was a quicker way of doing that, although I've
tried it and it doesn't seem to work. I'm using jaws 14. Any idea if it
should work with that version?

Hi, Paul. If you press your Caps lock key twice quickly, you should be able
to turn off caps lock without using the pass through.
