Re: Is there a way to mute JAWS 14?

Sweet thanks. Now that I did that, I just noticed that the recording isn't "original quality." I played this track that I found off the internet and I tried to make a small clip out of it. I remember when I did this with my old windows xp machine it recorded great as if it were original quality. I went into the volume control settings, but I don't really know where to look. Any ideas/suggestions?

Jaws key space bar for the layered mode and press the letter s.
You may toggle it off and on this way.

Hi, I have JAWS 14 on a windows 7 machine. Is there anyway I can mute JAWS? I’m trying to record something using the sound recorder, but do not want JAWS to interupt. Thanks
