Dave, in my experience I have seen and herd multiple times of two entirely different versions of each adobe version, one has accessibility turned on, the other has it off.

I wouldn't have believed it but I got one of the "turned off" versions myself, and I downloaded it straight from adobe as an update! then after several complaints on one or two of the lists someone came up with this tidbit and a URL for the "accessibility on" version and all went well, I just wait for the new accessible link on the lists before I update. perchance this is what happened here? elf .
