My previous message followed on an earlier suggestion that a repair can be done via "add and remove." As far as I can tell, this particular method doesn't work. I was hoping to be proven wrong, but so far it doesn't seem that I am.

I am running JAWS 14.0.3005. when I run the j14.0.3005.64bitt.exe
file, I choose install. after it looks like JAWS is going to
re-install itself, I finally get to a dialog where I can choose to
modify, repair, oror remove the installation.
