Not receiving a copy of my post to the list

John J. Fioravanti, Jr.

Hi: Can anyone suggest why I'm not receiving a copy of the emails I post to
the list? I have the option set to receive. Also, I recently changed my
email and prior to that never had a problem. Thanks in advance.

Another factor is when Jaws mixed case processing is checked (by default).
This effects words that use apostrophe at the beginning as in some names.

Dave, I have punctuation set to most in just about everything I run, at

that, the Bible will still read apostrophe, when it serves as a single
quote, but only in The bible. I never hear it anywhere else, except in a
few oddball possessives.

Sometimes the relationship of a character to another character can be a
determining factor. When I create a particular report, JAWS doesn't always
follow its own rules. For example, I use some date processing, but this
report will read a date such as 04/05/2013 as 04 slash 05 slash 1 3. I
discovered it only happens when the number runs slap up against a paragraph
mark. If I place a period to the immediate right of the date, JAWS reads
the date properly, but it also reads the period ("dot"). Again, this is
because the period is right up against the paragraph mark. It might behave
normally if I hid the paragraph mark, but I'd sooner put up with the anomaly
than lose the paragraph mark.

It is my impression that the punctuation marks are present, but that they
are being spoken unnecessarily.

Why would that have jaws speak punctuation that isn't actually present
though?

Hello,
I think I posted this a while back, but I never figured out how to
fix this.
In every application, Jaws says Apostrophe too many times. for
example 'hello' said john I hear: apostrophe hello Apostrophe
Apostrophe said john.
What gets really annoying is when you have something like:
'orange' 1 'apple' 2 'pizza' 3.
There are way to many Apostrophes in there!
Thanks,

Brandon Keith Biggs
