I've found the largest benefit is by making the elimination global across all web sites. e.g. the Twitter, Facebook, and other twaddle that seems to proliferate. Some Google frames may also be globally cleared out, but may need to be identified carefully to not be site-specific. Yes, seems like a lot of fiddling around to go through the steps, but it really does make things cleaner. Now if we could just get a way to stop getting hung up in the address bar/toolbar/search area of web pages, I'd be a much happier surfer.
