Leep mode caused JAWS all kinds of grief. It was a large "no no" to do that.
Perhaps the old bug has reemerged?

For me, sleep means standby, not hibernate. It doesn't happen frequently,
and the message isn't always the same. Sometimes it tells me I am in 40
minute mode.

I recall having problem when I put my computer into hibernate mode, but not
when putting it into standby. I am not sure if you mean sleep to be standby,
or hibernate

Interesting - that is exactly when it happens, and I am also using JAWS 14

Hi,
This happens on my laptop running windows 7 and Jaws 14 when I have it set
to require a password from sleep or start-up. Jaws doesn't seem to like
these features.

For whatever reason wonderful JAWS has decided that something has changed in
your profile of the computer. I have had this problem on my laptop and just
restarted the laptop and JAWS was all happy.

Hello All,

Can anyone tell me why I would be getting a message from JAWS on start up
telling me I have three days left in my demo version of JAWS when I am using
a fully lisenced version?

Thanks, Cynthia
