Thanks John,
Looking forward to your software; definitely well worth the $5.

John,
Just a quick question, I'm getting my Iphone next week and will be
downloading Itunes for the first time. In terms of Blind tunes, do I just
download it after I have Itunes installed? thanks

Not trying to pry, but I think they are getting rid of the sidebar. It
doesn't servie the same purpose as before or functionality. I would get used
to just navigating around without the scripts and see what you think. If you
want something easier, try blind tunes. The beta list is always going
through suggestions and reporting bugs, but I would recommend listening to
the podcast audio demonstration on BlindTunes.net to see the difference.

Jean,

Not to dicker, but for those of us who are using BlindTunes, for better or
for worse, we are directed to hide the sidebar so that the scripts work
properly.

So the answer depends.

No, you want the sidebar visible. When you go to the view menu, if it says
Show side bar, press enter on it to show it. If it says hide sidebar, then
it is showing and you're good to go. When it is showing, then you can down
arrow through music, books, TV, etc., whatever you have there, and you'll go
past the store where you hear that sound, and then you get to your device
where you can sync, etc.

I though you had to hide the sidbar to use Blindtunes.

Hi Chris. Oh, I agree with you. Every time seems to be a struggle, and
I hate iTunes and only use it when I have to. But, yes, uncheck that
hide sidebar choice to make the sidebar visible.

Jene:
I remember seeing that iPhone button but every so often it would
disappear and I never was able to retain how the hell it got there and
what I pressed lol.

So that I will not be heading in the wrong direction, how do I turn on
the side bar? Lol.
Just looking here real quick, alt v, up arrow and there is an option
that isn't checked that says hide side bar and I want that unchecked?
I tell ya, once I thought I had this Itunes 11 figured out without the
use of scrips, I don't use it for a few days and its like I ran into a
wall or something, because I don't remember what I learned lol.
Itunes has never been a huge thing for me until I purchased my iPhone
though.
Thanks much.

Go to the view menu and turn on the side bar. Then the sync will be
back as before. If you choose not to do that, use NVDA, there is an
iPhone button that Jaws doesn't read, but NVDA does. That's the button
you need to click if you don't turn on the side bar. I forget where
that button is, but I believe it was when tabbing through from the
music choice. Just turn on the side bar and it will pretty much be as
previous versions were. You can then arrow down to your device.

Hi,

Strictly opinion of course, what methods are people using to sink
content from their computer over to their iPhone, let's say music?

This new iTunes was a pain at first to navigate but I managed to find
everything that I was looking for, accept sinking from my comp to the
phone.
Thoughts?
