Re: [Bulk] Select A Graphic Solved.

Dave...

Computer has been ordered, so still a few weeks away from jumping out of a
Windows 7.

I wouldn't put too much into the unlucky number 13. If they do what some
companies do they'll skip and go right on to 14. But if they do release
version 13, it can't be any worse than 12, can it?

More nervous ? No you were moving to windows 7 ages ago for the sake of
your company do not let jaws madness put you off, anyway with a number like
13 jaws next version will have to be good,it would never live it down if it
filled this list with disasters would it? ---- Original Message -----

Spence,

Weirder and Weirder,

I opened default.jkm (from the Shared Settings Folder) and there was a lot
of stuff there, and sure enough your keystroke -- and a few more that do
not
show up, as you said.

Good sleuthing, but it makes me even more nervous now that FS may well
have
lost control of JAWS.

Hi:

So I threw all the .jkms, .jsses and so on to Linux so I do a grep on
all
of
them, to search for Select A Graphic and I found it in default.jkm.
Default.JKM has a ton of commands in it that don't show up in Keyboard
Manager. So I edited default.jkm with Notepad, changed the keystroke
manually,
rebooted Jaws and woohoo, joy!

So in case anyone ever wants to change the keystroke of a command that
doesn't show up in the Keyboard Manager of default.jkm, try scrolling
through
default.jkm in Notepad and it should be there. :)
