Re: Microsoft Lync and Alcatel Softphone
Never used Alcatel with Softphone, but do use Cisco with a product calledtoggle quoted messageShow quoted text
Softphone. Soft phone comes from a separate provider called IP blue. It
works well with JAWS, as the developers have designed in accessibility. Your
IT department should be able to research the product and get help from IP
blue on setting it up and configuring it for JAWS.
Here's my Help/About menu. Bear in mind that I'm using Windows 7, so the
version for XP may have a different revision number...

Subject: Microsoft Lync and Alcatel Softphone
These two pieces of software, which run together, will be deployed soon on
my computer, in order to replace the phone I'm currently using.
After the replacement, it will not be possible for me to handle phone calls
without the computer, a PC running windows XP pro SP3 and Jaws 12.
So, does anyone here know about these pieces of software? In particular, to
what extent are they accessible with jaws?
Many thanks in advance. Have a nice day. Christophe Delaunay
