Hi, Tom.
I didn't see your post yesterday, but it could be because it got lost in my
black hole of an Inbox. Just wanted you to know you're still coming through.
Out of curiosity, how long are your documents? My Word docs are fairly
short, but I could put one together to get the same page length to see if I
can replicate your problem here. Also, might it be a question of low RAM
i.e., too many open applications using up your RAM?

Hi, all.

Are my posts making it to the list?

Yesterday, I posted the quiry below, and didn't get any response whatsoever
which seems very strange to me.

I did get a response with some suggestions from Freedom Scientific, which I
will try today, but I would appreciate any of your thoughts as well.

Just wanting to be sure I am still getting through.

7 and Jaws 13

Hello.

Recently, I have been encountering a frustrating problem at work when
reading through documents in Microsoft Word 2010 with Windows 7 and
Jaws 13.

Specifically, I can navigate through the first page or so of the
document fine. However, after that, Jaws becomes extremely sluggish,
and fails to speak consistently. Often, the computer actually seems
to freeze up for a few seconds, until Jaws recovers, only to have the
problem happen again after another brief period of reading.

I have tried to read the documents using the draft option under the
view tab, but to no avail.

Do you have any solutions to this problem, or suggestions of things
for me to try to remedy the situation?

Thanks!

Tom Behler from Michigan
