Re: jaws and the xm radio listening page

Hi, Mike.
Just a quick note to help out, not to bust you or play list police or anything. *smile*
If you're going to share important info i.e., username and psswrd and stuff, I'm not sure you want to share it with the entire list.
To get the address of the person you're wanting to send the info to, if you're using Outlook:
Ctrl+r to reply to the message.
Arrow down till it reads: "From: jfw-bounces@lists.the-jdh.com [mailto:jfw-bounces@lists.the-jdh.com] On Behalf Of sender@isp.com".
select the sender's e-mail address, and Ctrl+C to copy to the clipboard.
Shift+tab to get to the To field, select what's there and delete it, and paste the sender's e-mail address there.
HTH,
Dani, cautious like that

With JAWS Version 13, I was able to enter the channels. I don't have my subscription anymore though. If you'd lend me your user name and password, I'd be happy to log on and see what I can do. I promise not to do anything to harm your account or anything like that. I just want to help. I'd like to see this work better for everyone. Maybe we can put our heads together, and figure something out.

Michael, the best way to change channels, is to enter them into the box.
Don't use the channel buttons. If you do that, chances are you'll always see the edit box. Not every time. The player is very frustrating to use.

Michael, I never figured it out. I seem to remember the edit box stayed
up
until I either entered a channel that wasn't on, or used the buttons to go
up and down the channel list. The player leaves a lot to be desired.

hey guys:
does anyone use jaws whilst listening to xm on their player page?
if yeah then my question has to do with changing channels.
it seems that I can move up and down sequencially through the channnels
but say I wanted to go from a ball game in the 800 channels and then go
to classic vinyl which is channel 26 there seems to be no way to go into
an edit box and type the number 26 in there to go directly to it.
I seem to remember that you could do that at one time.
the first time you login to listen online link you get an edit box but
after you put that channel in there it never appears again.
has anyone tried this?
