Hello there;
If you want a quicker way to save attachments in outlook2010
1, highlight the message which contains the attached file,
Do not enter,
Press alt+f,
You will land on save as,
Press enter.
Also, if you press alt+f, with the message highlighted not opened, you will
see save attachment.

While your cursor is on the attachment, not the message, go to the
ribbon. It's on the lower ribbon. If you go to the ribbon when the
cursor is on the message, attach isn't visible.

But you can just copy/paste the file name instead.

Dave,

I don't get the View option or the Save As option anymore since
using Outlook 2010 and Windows 7.

And to further expound on this topic. In the message list, when you
hear "attachment" just press the Applications Key (or shift F10) and
arrow down (or letter V) to View attachments. All attachments come
into the menu and you can select one from there.

Hi,
Yes no real science here,
Just enter on a message containing attachment,
Shift+tab once, you will hear the attached file,
Right arrow to highlight/select,
Now use the applications key and find the save as and pres enter.

Ted,

As others have said, shift tab to the attachment list. Then left arrow. As
the attachment speaks, wait for the higher-pitched tone to ensure you're on
an attachment. Then the context menu will work, and you can either open or
save to disk (which is my preference). I also set up a QAT to more easily
save any and all attachments in one operation.

Anybody know an easy way to find and open these? The Applications key
no longer works (of course not, it was simple and logical). I don't
want to start a big thread, and wake up the flame throwers, but if
anyone has an easy solution, either on or off list, I'd appreciate
hearing from you.
