Hello Tom:
Open up a new message in Outlook. Then press ALT+F then t. Arrow down to mail. Tab to Editor Options, press Space. Now, arrow down to Advanced and start tabbing. You will find the Autocorrect checkbox there, which you can turn off with space.

I’ve now turned off auto-suggestions in Word, but how do I do this in Outlook?

Open the Word options, Alt + T, then press the letter, O.
Down arrow to the Advanced category now tab until you find, show auto complete suggestions, uncheck this
You might also find the option to make your changes globally across all documents in this category.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rahul Bajaj Sent: Friday, November 18, 2022 4:56 AM Subject: Re: turning off suggestions in word
To add to that, a particular feature that I want to turn off globally is WOrd suggesting how to complete a word/sentence, based on the letters that I have entered. E.g., when I enter "frien," it suggests" friendship."
