I'm still at the version with .37 at the end, not .41. The Edge browser is supposed to update on reopening, but it isn't happening, even after I close and open it again. Could the update apply only to Windows 11?

Similar instructions for Edge? I've had trouble with Audible, and was able to use Chrome to circumvent the context menu thing, but Edge is my default browser. Thx!

In case anyone needs the information on how to update Chrome, so you can get rid of the context menu activation issue,
1. Open Chrome.
2. Press ALT, followed by the letters f e g.
3. The "About" dialog of Chrome will come up, and Chrome will begin to update. You will know when it is done, because there will be a "Relaunch Chrome" button on the page, once Chrome has fully updated.
4. Press ENTER on that relaunch button, and Chrome will open back up to the About dialog.
5. I always close Chrome again, and reopen it in the normal way.

I posted this in another thread, but I'll post it here so you don't have to chase after it, I hope it helps you as it has me.
I first tried turning off the virtual cursor but didn't like the effect it had, so I then tried changing the link activation option from simulating a mouse click to sending an enter and it seems to have solved the problem for me.
If you want to try this you can find it under Web/HTML/PDFs > Miscellaneous in the settings center (JAWS+6).

I confirm the problem has been fixed with today's chrome update, Didn't encounter any unexpected context menu popups, or non activated links or buttons on many websites with jaws 2023 beta and 2022. both work as expected.
Just open the about page in Chrome and wait for a moment that should update it automatically.
