Hello;
Try the following;

1, open MSWord;

2, insert+v=Jaws Quick Settings;

3, down arrow one time,
Now press the letter E=editing options,

4, arrow down until you hear;
New lines and paragraph indications,
Now press the spacebar until you hear off.
Now press enter.

Hope this helps.

Subject: How to stop Jaws from announcing every "new line" in a Microsoft
Word File

Hello, all.

On this Windows 7 laptop, I have just discovered a rather anoying problem.

Specifically, whenever I read a document, Jaws says "new line" at the
beginning of every line.

This obviously gets rather anoying as I'm trying to quickly read through a
document.

How do I turn this "new line" announcement feature off?

I'm currently using Jaws 13 with Microsoft Word 2010.

Thanks!
